How to Change your Display Name

The default set up for your new MASON LIVE account will put your NetID (such as gmason) as your display name when you send an email. If you would like to change your display name to be your full name (such as George Mason), please follow the simple steps below.

  1. Log into your MASON LIVE account.
  2. Click the Settings Gear at the top right of your window, then select Mail from the list of My App Settings.
  3. On the left hand menu click General, then click on My Account.
  4. On the My Account screen, type in your full name in the Display Name area, then click save.
Note: This may take a few hours to 24 hours for the name to change.
